Open Space Protection Manager

Ipswich is a unique and beautiful coastal community that has prioritized protection of its scenic treasures and valued natural resources. If you have a passion and commitment for open space conservation and natural resource protection, consider joining the Town of Ipswich as the full-time, benefited, Open Space Program Manager. Ipswich made land conservation a dedicated priority nearly twenty-five years ago when it established the Open Space Program within the Department of Planning and Development. Town citizens approved the designation of funds to support both land protection acquisitions, as well as operational funds for Program staffing and expenses. The Program has successfully protected nearly 1,000 acres of land in those 25 years, and manages stewardship of approximately 1,700 acres of conserved land.
