The Naushon Trust seeks a professional land manager to manage the transitions in our forest caused by beech leaf disease and related stressors as well as to manage our grasslands. The land manager will oversee the development of a management plan and work with family members, external advisors, and staff to implement measures to support forest regeneration, invasive species management, and grassland restoration and management. The position combines analysis, planning, and development of silvicultural practices and the hands-on implementation of clearing, cutting, mowing, and planting.
