The Lakes District Manager for the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation provides operational and strategic planning oversight to a collection of State Parks and State Forests in Southern Berkshire County. With over 100 miles of trails, four rustic campgrounds, inland waterfronts and boat launches, and several high grounds this District encompasses valuable, natural recreational assets within some of the most biodiverse landscapes in the Commonwealth. The District Manager oversees a team of full time and seasonal staff to provide stewardship, public engagement, public advocacy, and community connections for these properties.
