HooRWA is also seeking volunteers who can commit on a more regular basis. These are committee positions. Committees meet monthly for 1 hour. There can be an additional 1-3 hour commitment between meetings to attend to action items. You do not need to be a board member to serve on a committee. Development & Membership: Contribute to fundraising efforts; raise HooRWA’s visibility in the community; participate in meet & greets. Read more about the position HERE.
Activities: Help us craft & implement more public programming.
Water Quality Monitoring: Help by sharing your expertise and/or water sampling.
PR: We are looking to create an ad hoc committee who can help us brainstorm how to more effectively promote our work and reach a more diverse audience through print, social media, and in-person events. A few tech savvy people would be appreciated to participate in their committee.
