Highstead seeks proposals for an Independent Contractor to fulfill outreach and engagement activities as part of a large collaborative conservation grant program across Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts. Specifically, the Contractor will help build, promote, and execute workshops around eBird and other citizen science bird and wildlife-related efforts that strengthen the relationship between conservation partners, land trusts, and local landowners and facilitate land bird conservation in conjunction with land protection. Working with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, the ideal contractor will be a collaborative self-starter, familiar with eBird, experience developing workshops, and excellent communication skills.
