Join Buzzards Bay Coalition (BBC) for a guided tour of the Slocum-Gibbs Cranberry Company property. In 2025, BBC partnered with growers, four towns, and state and federal agencies to conserve 1,652 acres across southeastern Massachusetts. Spanning Carver, Middleborough, Rochester, and Wareham, the property protects forests, cranberry bogs being restored, and wetlands along the Weweantic and Sippican Rivers—forming two large, permanently conserved blocks.
