Diana is the Executive Director of the Native Land Conservancy, becoming their first staff member in 2021. The NLC is Native-run land conservation group based in Mashpee with a mission to preserve healthy landscapes for all living things and help restore land back to its original state wherever possible. Diana leads acquisitions, develops stewardship programs and plays a leadership role in guiding strategic planning and implementation for the NLC. She holds a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a B.S. from Mills College. She is a former Board Member and Board Officer of Audubon Canyon Ranch, a land trust in California.
