The Massachusetts Land Trust Coalition is pleased to announce the appointment of Robb Johnson as the Executive Director of its coalition of 150 land trusts in the Commonwealth. Robb stated: "I'm excited to once again work with land conservation organizations of varied size and geography to help solve the habitat, land use and climate challenges facing Massachusetts."
Robb has masters degrees in public administration and public health as well as over 30 years of non-profit experience in health care, human services, and environmental organizations in Massachusetts, including The Nature Conservancy, Sudbury Valley Trustees and the Bay Circuit Alliance. He has also served as an officer of two non-profit boards. Much of his prior conservation experience was in land protection projects, and he takes enduring satisfaction in projects completed in Gill, Sunderland, Framingham, Middleborough, Plymouth and Barnstable, among others. "Robb, with his extensive experience, perspective and skills in strategic planning, program development, fundraising and community engagement, provides an opportunity for MLTC to expand its education, advocacy, networking and assistance to conservationists across the state," commented Buzz Constable, MLTC President.
