Act Now to Secure Major Funding for Conservation!

June 23, 2020

On June 17, the federal Great American Outdoors Act (S. 3422/H.R. 7092) passed the Senate by a wide bipartisan margin, 73-25. This was an historic day for conservation!  If passed into law, this bill will provide long-sought full and permanent funding of $900 million a year through the Land and Water Conservation Fund, plus funding for a backlog of critical national park maintenance projects. The next stop is the House of Representatives, where a vote is expected before July 3.

Please act now to support its passage! Find contact information for your US Representative here.
