Harvard Forests’ New England Landscape Futures Explorer is an interactive, map-based tool that helps users explore how land use in New England has changed over time and how it could evolve under different future scenarios. The tool allows communities, land trusts, and planners to visualize potential development and conservation outcomes and consider how land use decisions may affect forests, farms, water resources, and other conservation priorities.
