Kestrel Land Trust, an accredited regional land trust, seeks a full-time (30-40 hours/week) Youth & Volunteer Coordinator to join our team of dedicated professionals in the Connecticut River Valley of Massachusetts. The successful candidate will be an energetic and well-organized team player who loves working with people and is passionate about nature. The position will facilitate nature-based programs and experiences for kids and teens from underrepresented communities in partnership with nonprofit partners, such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and Girls Inc. It will also coordinate Kestrel’s volunteer program for land stewardship and community engagement activities by supporting recruitment, training, and communicating with various volunteer groups.
Associates degree or higher education, and 1-2 years’ experience in teaching or other educational role, and/or leading groups in the outdoors. Spanish language skills desirable.
