Primary Duties and Responsibilities
● Conduct field work to document natural resources
● Write natural resource content for a variety of conservation and land management projects
● Utilize ArcGIS Pro to create maps. Digitize plans for mapping purposes. ● Complete research-related tasks such as literature reviews, data analysis, and analysis and interpretation of GIS data sets on topics such as natural resources, land use, climate change, and conservation
● Support land conservation activities through natural resource documentation, research, writing, and data collection ● Support stewardship activities, including property and invasive management, habitat creation & management, and volunteer crew assistance
● Assist with the production of management and climate plans
● Perform special projects related to natural resource and open space planning, land conservation and stewardship, GIS, and other tasks as assigned
