Emily's career has been focused on working with state and federal legislators, agencies, and partners to advance land and water conservation and climate funding and policy. She is currently the Assistant Director for Land and Habitat Conservation at the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife (MassWildlife). Prior to MassWildlife, Emily was the Senior Policy Manager at The Nature Conservancy in Massachusetts and led international and local-level conservation work in roles at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy and the Chesapeake Conservancy. She holds a Master of Environmental Management degree in Ecosystem Science and Conservation from Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment, a degree in Biology from St. Mary's College of Maryland, and executive education in conservation finance.
