Kathy Orlando is Executive Director for Land Protection with the Sheffield Land Trust where she has worked for over 30 years to conserve the rich agricultural, ecological, historic and cultural heritage of the area. As Chair of MLTC's Partner Engagement Committee, she convenes quarterly Conservation Partner Meetings. She also serves as land trust representative to the Agricultural Lands Preservation Committee of the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources. Kathy also serves on a number of town and other nonprofit boards including the Berkshire Community Land Trust/Community Land Trust in the Southern Berkshires, Berkshire County Farm Bureau, and the Agricultural, Historical and Housing Commissions for the Town of Sheffield. She received a B.A. from Wheaton College and a J.D. from Pace Law School.
