The Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont Chapters of the Nature Conservancy seek an energetic conservationist for the position of Family Forest Outreach Specialist to strengthen the Northern Appalachians Forest conservation programs. The Family Forest Outreach Specialist will reach out to individual family forest landowners and to groups of landowners/organizations to provide information about climate-smart forest management and forest conservation. They will work specifically to support landowners enrolling in the American Forest Foundation/The Nature Conservancy Family Forest Carbon Program (FFCP) as well as state and federal programs that incentivize landowners to manage their land using climate-smart forest practices that increase carbon stocking and improve forest resilience.
