The Nantucket Land Bank is a governmental organization focused on purchasing and managing land for conservation, recreation, and agricultural purposes for the benefit of the Nantucket community.
We are a small but talented team and are currently seeking a full-time Executive Assistant that can provide strong administrative and organizational support to the Executive Director and Assistant Director. Position requires an analytical capability together with excellent verbal and written communications skills. In addition to performing advanced writing projects, this position develops, manages, and implements media and communications designed to keep the community educated about Land Bank activities and initiatives. Applicant must have proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Credentials and Experience: College degree required with at least three (3) years’ experience providing executive level administrative support preferred. Familiarity with land use matters, title issues, and Mass Land Records helpful. Previous experience in a communications role and/or graduate level coursework in communications, environmental studies, land use planning or related field a plus.
Working hours are 35 hours/week Monday through Friday with additional hours required at evening Land Bank Commission meetings twice per month. Compensation commensurate with education and experience. Position includes full benefits.
