Conservation Agent

The Conservation Agent provides support, coordination and professional management to the Conservation Administrator and Conservation Commission in carrying out the administration and enforcement of the Wetlands Protection Act and Marshfield Wetlands Bylaw and protection of over 2800 acres of Town owned Conservation Land. Employee is under the general supervision of the Conservation Administrator. This is a great opportunity for the right person to learn and help a Town that is steeped in conservation resources, history, maritime activity and recreation enthusiasts. It is also a growing Town which is why we have added this position. Applicant must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Environment Science or a related field Class D operator’s license, one to three (1-3) years of related work experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
